And I’m totally here for it.

Okay, so this is yet again another title by JT Geissinger where I have to warn you going in that not everything is as it seems. And you’re going to think you know what’s going on but you’re probably wrong so don’t bother. Just sit back and enjoy the ride because sweet baby haysuess, this book will take you for one.

I don’t believe Callum McCord knows what the word subtlety means. He goes for the record when it comes to overbearing and possessive heroes but that’s just the point. This series isn’t about the knights in shining armor. This series is for the other guys, The guys who paint outside the lines to get what they want. In this case, what he wants is Em.

Emery Eastwood is fucking hilarious. I’ve been lucky lately in that almost all of my reads have been written by some authors who have comedic banter nailed. ALL of my highlights in this book are moments when she’s being so funny that it had me laughing out loud. And these two have banter for days.

The spice is super-spicy. The romance is swoon worthy (albeit dysfunctional). And if you’re able to take your time and read this in more than one sitting, color me impressed because I couldn’t put the book down until I reached the end.
